Police: Woman, 3 Others Stole $14K in Michael Kors Items

The thefts occurred at Hicksville and Greenvale TJ Maxx stores.

A Brooklyn woman was arrested Tuesday for stealing assorted Michael Kors merchandise from TJ Maxx stores in Greenvale and Hicksville in August, police said.

According to authorities, Raquel Davila, 54, and three other women stole designer merchandise worth $14,237.57 from the following stores:

  • TJ Maxx, located at 90 Northern Boulevard in Greenvale, on Aug. 13.
  • TJ Maxx, located at 410 South Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville, on Aug. 23.

Davila was arrested Tuesday at her Brooklyn home and was found to be in possession of cocaine, police said.

She was charged with third degree grand larceny, fourth degree grand larceny and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the three other women to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
