Retiring Board Members Honored For Years Of Volunteer Service
Together, the two have a total of 18 years of volunteer service between them.

During their final meeting as members of the Syosset Board of Education, two retiring members were recognized for their volunteer service to the district.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tom Rogers and Board of Education President Dr. Michael Cohen presented Vice President April Neuendorf and trustee Laura Schlesinger with plaques of recognition.
Together, the two have a total of 18 years of volunteer service between them.

Fellow board members praised Neuendorf and Schlesinger as being altruistic, caring, committed, incredibly fair and smart, among other positive attributes.
