One year ago, our Island was hit by an unprecedented and unexpected storm. Most of us were severely impacted, and many lost everything, but our community banded together to help each other through it.
I'm so thankful and proud of our community's efforts during Sandy. Though I hope we never have to experience that again, I know we will be prepared to work together if we do.
