South Grove Kindergarteners Give Patriotic History Lesson
The students performed a play that explained the chronological history of America.

The kindergarten class at South Grove Elementary School performed its year-end play, a chronological journey through America’s rich history, in front of parents, teachers and administrators on Friday, June 12.
The students wore costumes while giving presentations highlighting the many changes that occurred under the banner of one flag.

Students began in chronological order with Christopher Columbus and moved all the way up to the Civil Rights Movement.
The performance was staged ahead of Flag Day, which was observed on June 14.

The students sang songs such as “America the Beautiful” and “This Land is Your Land” in between moments in history.
