Syosset Celebrates Culture, Diversity at International Night

Attendees tasted foods from different cultures and enjoyed internationally-themed performances.

Syosset’s Village Elementary School celebrated the diversity of the student body during their annual International Night.

Everyone who attended the event were able to taste cuisines prepared and served by dozens of Village parents. There were pierogi from Poland, Indian samosas, sushi from Japan and many other dishes from across the globe.

The event also had an array of internationally-themed performances, including Bollywood-inspired dancing and a Chinese yoyo demonstration.
