Syosset H.S. Teacher To Appear On Jeopardy!
Social studies teacher Daniel Wohl will be a contestant on Feb. 8.

SYOSSET, NY — The Syosset High School community is waiting with anticipation as one of its own appears on Jeopardy!
Social studies teacher Daniel Wohl will be a contestant on the Wednesday, Feb. 8 episode.
The school says Wohl, a longtime fan of the game show, began the application process more than two years ago.

Asked why he loves Jeopardy!, Wohl told producers "each episode feels like a tiny microcosm of the world as it should be - a world where intelligence is rewarded, where curiosity is valued, and where knowledge is celebrated."
During his first year at Syosset, the senior class voted Wahl the "most likely to win Jeopardy!"
