Syosset, Jericho Home To Top 100 Schools In NY For 2020
Niche has compiled what it says are the top 100 schools in New York, which includes both private and public schools. What do you think?
SYOSSET, NY—Niche, the rating site that periodically releases various school rankings, has come out with a new list that's a bit different than those it has come to be known for. In this one, Niche ranked what it called the top 100 schools in New York — and Long Island is home to 25 of them.
Of the schools in the Syosset area to make the list, they are:

In New York, it's clear that Niche has a type. The 10 best schools in the state are private schools, all but one of which are in New York City. On Long Island, the top schools were found in Syosset, Jericho, Port Washington, Great Neck, Manhasset, Locust Valley, Dix Hills, Old Westbury, Stony Brook, New Hyde Park, Roslyn and Albertson.
Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users.
