Syosset Middle Schools Ranked Among Best in State

Both Syosset middle schools rank in the top 100 in New York, according to Niche.com.

Niche.com has released its rankings of public middle schools across the country and all of the middle schools in the Syosset Central School District have made the list of the top 100 in New York.

H.B. Thompson Middle School came in at No. 12 among middle schools in the state with an overall Niche grade of A+. South Woods Middle School came in at No. 13 in the state and also received an A+ grade.

West Side School in the Cold Spring Harbor Central School District also made the list at No. 23 with an A+ overall grade. Cold Spring Harbor Junior/Senior High School was ranked No. 24 with an A+ grade and Lloyd Harbor School ranked No. 28 with an A+ grade.

Niche says it ranked 19,710 middle schools nationwide based on key student statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.
