Syosset School Budget Results Are In
Syosset residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.
Syosset residents approved the district’s $223.7 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 2,277 to 793.
The budget represents a 1.75 percent spending increase over the current year.
In the vote for Syosset Board of Education members, Carol C. Cheng, Dr. Michael Cohen and Anna Levitan beat out Uzma Syed and Mark Alan Fierstein for the three open seats.
