Syosset School District Invites Residents To Attend Phase II Facilities Meetings

From Syosset School District: Syosset community residents are invited to attend the upcoming school district facilities planning meetings listed below. Plans to address the remainder of the work as part of the district’s Five-Year Building Conditions Survey will be discussed along with community input from the facilities planning meeting held on Oct. 11. The board of education and administration are seeking feedback from all residents, which will be considered when finalizing a comprehensive Phase II plan of action. All residents are encouraged to attend.

• Rebuild/Relocate Turf Field and Eight-Lane Track for Students and Community
(including turf field to accommodate football, lacrosse and soccer,

Eight-Lane competition track and bathrooms)
• Replace Existing Weight Room with New Fitness Center
(for physical education classes, athletes and community use)

• Proposed districtwide energy-saving projects
