Syosset Students Become Master Chefs
"Kids in the Kitchen" is one of the more popular electives held during the school's summer program.
Syosset students have been learning the ins and outs out the kitchen this summer through Cathy Flanagan’s “Kids in the Kitchen” class.
“Kids in the Kitchen” is one of the more popular electives held during the school’s summer program.
About 20 students are enrolled in the three-period course. The students in various grade levels learned how to work the oven and follow recipes to create masterpieces in the kitchen.

Students worked as a team to make pizzas and garlic knots from scratch by mixing, rolling and flattening the dough before cooking it in time for lunch.
