The bustling little Long Island town of Syosset has had many facelifts over the years. Original structures have been remodeled and replaced, leaving just a shadow of the good old days of horse-drawn carriages and general stores.

Can you identify this Syosset restaurant? We've blurred the name on the sign so you can't cheat, but we will tell you this picture was taken just after World War II. The restaurant itself happened to be a hot spot for a good steak dinner back then.
