Syosset Youth Wrestling Club 2013-2014 Registration

Wrestling develops mental focus, discipline, sportsmanship and
determination as well as physical strength, agility, and endurance. It’s an
enormously fun sport and a great way for kids to make new and lasting
friendships. The skills learned and habits developed in the Syosset Youth
Wrestling program will aid your child on the mat and throughout life! 

PARTICIPATION AGES: K - 6TH Grade

REGISTRATION: November 19th, 21st and 26th at Syosset
High School gym from 5pm to 8pm. The cost per child is
$120. Please make checks payable to “Braves Wrestling”.
As insurance, participants are required to purchase a USA
Wrestling card (www.themat.com).

SCHEDULE: The group meets from 6:30pm to 8pm on
Monday and Thursday evenings from December 2nd
through February 13th (no practice on days there is no
school).

LOCATION: Syosset High School in the auxiliary auditorium.

TOURNAMENTS: Throughout the season there will be non-
mandatory team participation in youth wrestling
tournaments on Long Island. Coaches will provide more
information once the season begins.
