Syosset's Helen Steinberg Joins Syosset's Homes by Mara Realty as Newest Agent
Steinberg's multilingual skills to enhance realtor service for Long Island's Filipino community.

Syosset’s Homes By Mara Realty is pleased to welcome Helen Steinberg, of Syosset, as its newest licensed salesperson.
Originally from the Philippines, Steinberg brings to Homes By Mara a diverse background that includes law, sales and customer service, along with multilingual skills in Philippian dialects Tagalog and Visaya.
Before taking a 10 year sabbatical in the workforce to raise her two sons, during which time she was also a beauty sales consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, Steinberg was a legal assistant from 2001 to 2005 with Burke, Burke & Burke Law Office in Manhattan, NY, now known as Richard Burke at Law. Upon coming to the United States in the late 1990s, she worked as an office manager from 1998 to 2011 with Dr. Ester Lim, DDS in Manhattan, NY. Her other experience includes serving as a sales associate with SM Mall in Manila while living in the Philippines.

“When it came time to re-emerging in today’s workforce, I felt it was time to re-focus my energy within a new field that would allow me to continue utilizing my diverse skillsets and background, a match I have found in real estate,” explains Steinberg, who has an Associate Degree in Computer Science from System Plus Computer College in Manila, Philippines. “I immediately knew Homes By Mara was the right fit for me because of its rock solid reputation. As a professional with quality standards, Homes By Mara was undoubtedly the perfect choice!”
In addition to her multiple work skills, Steinberg is using her Philippine heritage and fluency in both Tagalog and Visaya to help overcome any potential language barriers that may exist among Filipinos who are living on or are considering a move to Long Island.
