Syosset, NY/Jericho, NY; June 6, 2016 – Suying Qian of Jericho, NY is the newest licensed salesperson to join Homes By Mara Realty of Syosset, NY. Qian comes to Homes By Mara just after working as an agent with Keller Williams Gold Coast Realty in Manhasset, NY. Prior to working with Keller Williams Realty, she was an agent with Douglas Elliman in Syosset, NY. Qian is excited over her new venture with Homes By Mara Realty and being part of its hands-on boutique approach and environment.

Qian grew up in China before moving to the United States in 1991, where she planted her roots on Long Island and began working as an IT Programmer of 22 years within such industries as financial, banking, insurance and education. Among vast companies she has worked with include Morgan Stanley in Manhattan, Bank of New York in Manhattan, Equitable in Manhattan, and Jewish Theology Seminary in Manhattan. After over two decades as an IT programmer, she says she opted to switch her focus to real estate because of its life work balance flexibility and her desire to provide service for Asian homebuyers and sellers within Long Island’s residential market.

Qian has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science as well as Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, both from Dalian Maritime University in China. Before joining Homes By Mara, Ly was a physician assistant at New York Cardiovascular Associates in Manhattan with clinical and managerial background specializing in sleep and pulmonary medicine. Prior to that she was a physician assistant at Clinilabs in Manhattan where she was in charge of running clinical studies.
