Trio Of Burglars Trigger Security Alarm Waking Nassau Woman: Police
The 28-year-old woman was roused from her sleep at around 5 a.m., and the three suspects made off empty-handed.
JERICHO, NY — A trio of suspects broke into a Jericho home, setting off the security alarm and waking a 28-year-old woman inside Wednesday morning, Nassau police said.
The woman was asleep inside her Birchwood Park Drive home when she woke to her home alarm system at around 5 a.m., and when she went to investigate, she noticed her side door ajar, according to police.
In their investigation, responding officers found three unknown suspects, all wearing hoodies, masks, and gloves, went inside the home and left shortly after empty-handed, police said.

Police said that there is no further description of the three suspects available at this time.
Detectives are investigating the crime as an attempted burglary.
