Westbury Man Threatened With Violence On Social Media: Police
Carlos Liranzo is charged with aggravated harassment, authorities say.
WESTBURY, NY — Police arrested a Yorktown Heights man who they said threatened a Westbury man on social media.
Carlos Liranzo, 19, of Yorktown Heights, was located by police in an Uber on Kent Street in Westbury and was placed in custody, authorities said.
Liranzo, according to police, used social media to threaten physical harm to a 39-year-old male victim, police said.

Liranzo also threatened to harm himself.
He was taken to an area hospital for evaluation and was released. There were no injuries.

Liranzo was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on a charge of second-degree aggravated harassment.
