Former Common Council president Bea González has been appointed to the board, replacing developer Ryan Benz, as the agency navigates executive turnover and the contentious East Adams redevelopment project affecting many city residents.
   

2. Important Parking information for Syracuse Football vs New Hampshire at JMA Wireless Dome (cnycentral.com) — Heading to today's Syracuse–New Hampshire game at the JMA Wireless Dome? Syracuse Police and the university are urging fans to arrive early, use the Skytop Lot if you don't have pre-purchased parking, follow specific I-81 and Route 690 directions, and stick to designated rideshare zones near campus to avoid long delays getting in and out.
   

3. Representative John W. Mannion Secures $1,031,000 for Onondaga Community College to Expand Advanced Manufacturing and Semiconductor Workforce Training (house.gov) — A new $1,031,000 federal grant will let Onondaga Community College in Syracuse buy advanced equipment to train more local students for high-demand manufacturing and semiconductor jobs. OCC expects more than 250 students and apprentices each year to benefit, strengthening the hiring pipeline for Central New York employers in manufacturing, construction, automotive, and industrial sectors.
   

4. Trump administration backs Micron in Central NY environmental dispute (idahobusinessreview.com) — A massive Micron chip plant planned for Clay and Cicero near Syracuse is drawing direct support from the Trump administration, which argues in court that environmental challenges threaten national security and key federal investments. Local residents' group Neighbors for a Better Micron is pushing for tougher environmental review, even as construction advances and thousands of promised Central New York jobs hang in the balance.
