Syracuse: High School Students: Get FREE Virtual FAFSA Assistance On March 30th

New York State Higher Education Services and New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association are hosting an online 2021-2022 FAFSA completion event Tuesday, March 30 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.



This online event requires an appointment. Students may register by visiting: https://startheregetthere.ny.gov/online-fafsa-completion-events



Fall 2021 college bound seniors are encouraged to attend this event if they have not filed their 2021-2022 FAFSA or if they have general questions about the financial aid application process. Financial aid professionals from across New York State will help students complete the FAFSA and TAP applications and answer basic questions families may have.



Students are encouraged to do the following prior to their appointment:

  • Obtain an FSA ID for the student
  • Obtain an FSA ID for one parent
  • Gather the documents needed to complete your FAFSA/TAP applications
