UHC to award $10,000 to a CNY org to improve community health
Interested organizations in CNY with ideas to improve their communities' health and wellness can apply at www.uhc.com/communitycareny.

UnitedHealthcare, CenterState CEO and United Way of Central New York are partnering to support small businesses through the Community Care Award program.
They are asking business and organizations in the Central New York area with two to 100 employees to apply with project ideas to better the health and wellness of their communities.
Applications are open from now through June 12, 2019 and must involve a partnership with a local nonprofit organization. The application takes just a few minutes to complete and the lucky winner will be awarded $10,000 in project funding!

Five finalists, chosen based on impact, creativity and feasibility, will be invited to a live pitch and networking event at the Tech Garden where the winner will be selected. Funds can be used to kickstart a community health project idea or help support an ongoing initiative.
