15-Minute Traffic Stops Set For Early Friday A.M. On Saw Mill

Weather permitting, the state Department of Transportation will be moving construction equipment, which necessitates the traffic stops.

GREENBURGH, NY — If you are traveling early Friday morning on the Saw Mill River Parkway you might have to stop for 15 minutes.

The state Department of Transportation said motorists should expect two 15-minute traffic stoppages along the north- and southbound parkway between Exit 20 (Interstate 87) and Exit 23 (Old Saw Mill River Road) in the town of Greenburgh.

The stoppages are scheduled to happen at 3:15 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, to facilitate the movement of construction equipment, weather permitting.
