The 94-foot Norway spruce will arrive in Manhattan Nov. 12.

ONEONTA, NY — This year’s Christmas tree that will grace Rockefeller Center is a 94-foot Norway spruce from Oneonta, Ostego County.
The mid-Hudson Valley tree will be cut down Nov. 10 at the home of Angie and Graig Eichler and will arrive in New York City Nov. 12, according to the Daily Freeman.
The tree will be outfitted with 50,000 multi-colored lights and lit Nov. 30 during an NBC television special, nbcnewyork.com said.
