Abinanti Wins Democratic Primary For 92nd Assembly District
Since there is no one running on the Republican line in November, he is all but assured of re-elected.

GREENBURGH, NY — Incumbent State Assemblyman Thomas Abinanti will be returning to Albany representing Assembly District 92. He won the June 23 Democratic primary against Jen Williams of Irvington.
Abinanti, who is a Greenburgh resident, said in a video posted on Facebook that he wanted to thank everyone who worked in his campaign, supported him and voted for him.
"I look forward to continuing to represent you for the next two years," he said.

There is no one running on the Republican line so Abinanti is all but assured of being re-elected.
Abinanti received 55 percent of the vote, once the absentee ballots had been counted.

Williams issued statement conceding the race and wished Abinanti the best of luck in Albany "delivering on the progressive promises discussed during our campaign."
The 92nd Assembly District is comprised of the towns of Greenburgh and Mount Pleasant.
