"I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for your support of the 2026–2027 budget," Elmsford Superintendent Susan Yom said in a statement. "This student-centered budget maintains current programs, preserves existing class sizes, and includes funding to sustain our facilities while continuing to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff. It also provides continued support for necessary facility repairs and improvements across the district."
The schools chief said the budget represents more than just numbers.
"The approved $48,098,741 budget reflects the District's ongoing commitment to its key priorities, including strengthening academic achievement and preparing our scholars for future success," Yom said. "We will also continue our efforts to foster safe and supportive learning environments for every child while remaining committed to recruiting and retaining exceptional staff who support that mission every day."
