Local leaders, through Historic Hudson River Towns, have joined a letter urging Gov. Hochul to fund the study, arguing better west-of-Hudson rail could boost housing, economic development, and mobility for Tarrytown-area residents.
   

• Eye Drops Recall: 39,000 Possibly Contaminated, Says FDA (thehealthy.com) — A Tarrytown-based company, Prestige Brand Holdings, has recalled about 39,000 bottles of Clear Eyes Maximum Itchy Eye Relief due to possible sterility issues and contamination concerns. The FDA classifies the recall as Class II, and local consumers are advised to check lot 2552A, expiring 09/30/2027, and consider returning affected products or consulting a healthcare professional.
