Veterans appreciation barbeque today from 4:30 to 7:30 at AF Veteran park

Greenburgh has been recognizing our veterans nearly every year for close to two decades. We're proud to sponsor our annual barbeque tonight for veterans at AF Veteran Park on Heatherdell Road beginning at 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Over 200 veterans are expected to attend. The event, sponsored by Shoprite, is free for veterans and their families.
This event is important because our veterans have served our country. It's a way to say thank you in a meaningful way. The barbeque brings veterans, spouses, caregivers, volunteers, and the community together in a relaxed setting. It's an opportunity for veterans to reconnect with fellow veterans and to develop friendships with people who share similar experiences. Another benefit: We're providing veterans with an opportunity to meet and interact with town officials, volunteers.
In Greenburgh we remember our veterans not just on Memorial Day and Veterans day but throughout the year.
