Yonkers BID Continues the Fifth Annual Free Jazz and Blues at Dusk Concert Series

For the fifth consecutive year, the Yonkers Amphitheatre will be one of the area’s most popular destinations for music lovers and the perfect setting to kick off a weekend of summer fun when the Yonkers Downtown Business Improvement District presents its Free “Jazz and Blues at Dusk” Summer Concert Series. The Yonkers Amphitheatre stage will feature performances by some of the New York metropolitan area’s top jazz and blues artists on 10 consecutive Fridays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm through September 2. If rain, the concerts will be staged at the Yonkers Pier. The series is made possible by the Yonkers Downtown BID and the support of sponsors —Domino Sugar of Yonkers, Key Bank and Sound Associates.

This Friday: Yerbabuena The Grammy-nominated fusion band, based out of New York, performs a blend of African-rooted Latin music with hip-hop, Motown soul, West African Afrobeat with a dash of Middle Eastern themes.
