Holmes will read from an essay she wrote — one of 16 appearing in a newly published collection.

Anna Holmes will be a guest speaker along with ex-presidential candidate Gary Hart at the Spoken Interludes season-ending program in Hastings-on Hudson on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The essay she will read from appears in Selfish, Shallow, and Self-Absorbed: 16 Writers on the Decision Not to Have Kids, released in April, 2015. Spoken Interludes’ book-reading program will resume in the fall, 2015.

Holmes is the founder of the blog/website Jezebel.com.

She edited Hell Hath No Fury: Women’s Letters from the End of the Affair (published in December, 2013) — composed of letters sent by women reaching the end of a relationship and she edited The Book of Jezebel: An illustrated Encyclopedia of Lady Things (published in October, 2013).
