Design Challenge at New Era Creative Space for ages 8-14.
Create a shelter for a mythical creature! Participants might build a cozy cottage for a woodland fairy, a mountainside lair for a ferocious dragon, a witch's haven, a cave for an ogre or a hobbit's hideaway.
Kids will work in small teams to brainstorm their designs. Then they will build an amazing shelter.
At the end of the afternoon, they will present their kid-designed creations to the group and their families.
This workshop is brought to you by ArchForKids, an educational venture that provides young people with engaging hands-on, minds-on learning experiences grounded in architecture, engineering and design in collaboration with New Era Creative Space.
