Berger Wins Con Ed Award

Sleepy Hollow track and field star Gillian Berger has had a dream year and rightfully so was named a Con-Edison Scholar Athlete of the Week.

Garrant Honored

Sleepy Hollow's L.J. Garrant was named to the Court of Excellence. They are the academic all-stars honored by the Westchester County Basketball Coaches Association.

The players who earn this honor excel both on the court and in the classroom. This is one of the most prestigous honors a player can earn in Section 1.

Lacrosse

On the 20th in his first action of the current campaign, Ted Seem (Hackley '11) went 4-4 in faceoffs in a game with Marywood U. of Scranton, at Mitchell Field, L.I., as the Amherst Lord Jeffs maintained their unblemished record.

On the 22nd, he was 0-2 one in faceoffs, with the opponents being Eastern Ct. State. On the 24th Seem went 2-3 in faceoffs, as his 11 won their 8th straight in a game with Nazareth of Rochester.
