On Tuesday, May 9th the Horsemen played host to a strong Mamaroneck team boasting their own 5-2 record. The afternoon started with a new goalie standing between the pipes for our boys. Zack Bernstein made 15 saves in goal to preserve Sleepy Hollow’s home field record.

The home team went into the half down one goal. Minutes into the third the boys in red found themselves down two but they soon would answer with a three goal run. With a 5-5 tie late in the fourth the Horsemen would score one more for the go ahead goal with twenty seconds left.
After a scuffle at the face off X the visiting tigers came up with a ground ball and a shot on goal for the tie. The game would end 6-6. Some home team standouts were Zack Bernstein, Kevin Borden, Mike Lopez, Jacob Smith, Harry Bogusz, Kasper Endreny, Jack Weitzner, and Isaac Newland.
