Blue Hill at Stone Barns Named One of Nation's 100 Best Restaurants
The ranking is from the website OpenTable.com
Blue Hill at Stone Barns, the exclusive restaurant on the Rockefeller estate at Pocantico Hills, was named one of the nation’s top 100 restaurants for 2014 by OpenTable.com.
The eatery, which features American cuisine, is one of 11 New York restaurants chosen as the best by the readers of OpenTable, and it is the only one in Westchester County.
Renowned for its exquisite, fresh local ingredients, the restaurant hosted the wedding of MSNBC host Alex Wagner and White House chef Sam Kass in August, which was attended by President Barack Obama.

“Sourcing ingredients from the surrounding fields and pasture as well as other local farms, Blue Hill at Stone Barns highlights the abundant resources of the Hudson Valley,” reads the description on the website. “There are no menus at Blue Hill at Stone Barns; Our Grazing, Pecking and Rooting option is the instant reflection of the day’s harvest.”
The top 100 were selected “based on an analysis of more than five million reviews of more than 20,000 restaurants across the country -- all submitted by verified diners,” according to OpenTable.
