Bronx Pair Plead To Mail Theft

One of the victims, police say, was a school district.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Two Bronx men have admitted to stealing mail from a Tarrytown mailbox. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Sean Dash, 21, and Jade Williams, 19, both from the Bronx, pleaded guilty to one count each of third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

They are scheduled to be sentenced May 31.

Scarpino said that, around 2:35 a.m. May 18, 2018, Tarrytown police said they saw Dash acting suspiciously in front of a mailbox located just blocks from the post office.
