Softball
Sleepy Hollow pitcher Jamie Bucci was named to MSG Varsity's All-Hudson Valley second team according to Kevin Devaney Jr.'s story on MSG Varsity.
She also won the Phyllis Porcano Fontana Softball Award as per the Sleepy Hollow website:
"Jamie Bucci, one of the two Sleepy Hollow female athletes of the year, received a special softball coaches’ scholarship which is awarded to only four senior softball players in Section One. Jamie had the highest batting average in New York State this year (693). She certainly has made her family, our school and the Sleepy Hollow athletic community very proud of her accomplishments."
Senior Athletes
Besides Bucci, the other two Sleepy athletes that earned the Senior Athlete of the Year Award were Gillian Berger and L.J. Garrant. Berger was also a Con Ed Scholar Athlete of the Week Award recipient.
Other Sports
MSG Varsity also gave out awards in other sports and to see who was honored in what, see its website here.
