Car Crashes into Greenburgh Library
Slippery conditions in the parking lot may have contributed to the Friday afternoon accident.

A car crashed through the glass into the Greenburgh library lobby early Friday afternoon.
There were no injuries, said Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.

The driver was a woman in her 70s, Greenburgh police said, according to News12. Slippery conditions in the parking lot off 300 Tarrytown Road may have been a factor, police said, according to the Daily Voice.
“We are going to order concrete bollards (barriers) to prevent this from occurring in the future,” Feiner said.

There was a Westchester Legislative Delegation budget hearing going on at the time, and Assemblyman David Buchwald (D-White Plains) was able to update the situation on Twitter.
