'Celebrate Greenburgh' to Feature Day of Community Activities, Fireworks

The evening will end with a fireworks display.

Greenburgh, NY — The annual Celebrate Greenburgh event will be held Saturday, July 16 at Anthony F. Veteran Park.

The day of activities, including a tennis carnival, inflatable water slides, face painting, swimming and more, will culminate in a fireworks display at 9 p.m.

The rain date is Sunday, July 17.

Fireworks can be viewed from either Anthony F. Veteran Park, 11 Olympic Lane in Ardsley, of McDowell Park, which is across from Veteran Park.

The entrance fee for the pool is $5, but it will be free after 6 p.m.

The event lineup is as follows:

  • 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Tennis Carnival
  • 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Senior Bridge Party/Entertainment
  • 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., County Clerk’s Mobile Office Passport Application Processing
  • 12 - 4 p.m., Dunk Tank (proceeds benefit Greenburgh Swim Team)
  • 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Band - "Bijoux"
  • 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Westchester County’s “Be Fit” Mobile
  • 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Inflatable Water Slides
  • 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Greenburgh Nature Center
  • 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Clown Performance/Face Painting
  • 3 p.m. - 4 p.m., TDYCC African Drums
  • 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Band - "Teri Lamar & New Company
  • 6 p.m. - Close, Pool Entrance Free
  • 6:45 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.,"Music Mixer DJ's"
