Closure Expected On Sprain Brook Ramps To I-287
The DOT said guiderails are set to be installed, weather permitting.
ELMSFORD, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation advised motorists today that the ramps from the Sprain Brook Parkway to Interstate 287 in the village of Elmsford will be closed on Tuesday, Sep. 21 and Wednesday, Sept. 22, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., to facilitate guiderail installation, weather permitting.
- The southbound Sprain Brook Parkway ramp to eastbound Interstate 287 will close on Tuesday, Sept. 21 between 7 p.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing Exit 4 to State Route 100A to Interstate 287 westbound to Exit 3 (Sprain Brook Parkway).
- The southbound Sprain Brook Parkway ramp to westbound Interstate 287 will close on Wednesday, Sept. 22 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing Interstate 287 eastbound to Exit 4 to State Route 100A to Interstate 287 westbound.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver's license.
