Sleepy Hollow competed in the out-bracket game of the Section 1 Class A playoffs on Feb. 15, falling to host Brewster 71-48.

Hackley basketball

The below was taken from the Hackley athletic website:

The Hackley Boys played arguably their best game of the season today (Feb. 8). We fell to Dalton 64-57.

It was a fight through out, with Dalton knocking down key free throws at the end to win. The Hornets were lead by Daniel Chung (15 pts.), Mustaffa Dais (14 pts) and Max Parauda (14 pts.)

 

College news from Dick Miller

Fencing:

Epee wielder Peter Cohen (Irv.-Hackley '10) and the Yale fencing team competed in the Ivy League Championship on the 12th, and finished 5th. At the Conclusion, Cohen received 2nd Team All-Ivy Honors for his performance in the event.
