We are excited to confirm that our Colonial Day event is still set to take place as originally planned, tomorrow, Saturday September 29, 2023 at Hartsbrook Nature Preserve in Hartsdale. Hartsbrook is located on Ridge Road in Hartsdale. This is a day we've all been looking forward to, celebrating our rich history and coming together as a community.
The event is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. $10 ADMISSION. $5 for children 3-12 and active service members/veterans.

SPECIAL GUESTS: George Washington, Le. Comte de Rochambeau and last but not least: Ben Franklin!
See re-enactors of the 5th NY Regiment and Hearts of Oak. Toys, games and activities for kids; demonstrations of Colonial cooking, wool spinning, blacksmithing. Learn more about the historic Odell House Rochambeau headquarters and how this historic house is being restored. Tour Washington's Revolutionary War Tents; guided by historic interpreters from the Museum of the American Revolution.
Bring your friends and family and let's create new memories while we reflect on our town's historical past. Your presence and enthusiasm are what make events like this truly special.
A fundraiser to benefit the Odell House-which will become a museum after renovations are completed - will be held on Saturday from 5-7 PM at Hartsbrook. The event will be held at the barn with delicious food.
SIDEWALK SALE ON EAST HARTSDALE AVE SATURDAY FROM 12 TO 4 PM
a SIDEWALK SALE, organized by Adriana Volpe, is being held on E Hartsdale Ave on Saturday from 12-4 PM. DJ, live music by the Grrove Machine sponsored by Mamajuana Cafe, HNA and stores of East Hartsdale Ave, food, face painting, vendors, raffles and more. Celebrate fall!
A number of roads that were closed earlier today because of the heavy rain storms are now open. These two roads were still closed around 6 PM.
Elmsford Area
Saw Mill River Road from Hunter Lane South to 287 Entrance / Exit.
Water has not yet crested, roadway may remain closed overnight and partially on Saturday.
Hastings Area
Jackson Ave/Sprain Rd.
Will remain closed due to truck that has to be removed after water recedes.
All stranded motorists who sought refuge at Town or Fire Department facility have left or made arraignments for a ride.
No reported power outages!
