Community Food Pantry Receives Donation from M and T Bank

The following announcement is from the Community Food Pantry:

The Community Food Pantry has received a grant from M & T Bank which will allow us to host a mobile food pantry for the holidays, on December 18 at 12:30 at the Sleepy Hollow Seniors Center. The bank’s employees will work the distribution, too.

The grant is large enough to host three more mobile pantries in 2015! This is great news for us, because our budget had only allowed one monthly distribution, though of course need is rising. (we’d been steady at 220 families of approximately four for several months – November saw a rise to 270. Who knows what we’ll see this Thursday at our regular distribution.)
