Con Edison Gas Main Work Continues In Tarrytown
There will be parking and traffic disruptions, officials said.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The replacement and upgrading of gas mains by Con Edison will be continuing in Tarrytown.
Village officials said Tuesday, Feb. 22 through Friday, Feb. 25 the utility company will be traversing Main Street at the juncture with Broadway.
As a result, parking at the top of Main Street will be restricted and traffic will be disrupted, with detours directed down John street and Kaldenberg.

People should be aware of traffic disruptions on Main Street when making plans for next week.
On Feb. 28, gas main replacement will begin on Wildey Street at Valley Street and Central Avenue moving up to Broadway over the next several months.

Residents should be aware that parking will be restricted and detours will be necessary at times throughout the project.
There may be a temporary suspension of gas service to homes and businesses as ConEd disconnects and reconnects service. An inspection is required before service is restored. If leaks or hazards are identified in the course of the inspection, they will need to be fixed by the home or business owner before service can be restored.
