Construction Starts in Sleepy Hollow for $1B Riverfront Development
The site is where the former General Motors plant was located.

A $1 billion mixed-used development has broken ground on the site of the former General Motors assembly plant in Sleepy Hollow.
Construction has started on Edge-on-Hudson, a 67-acre portion of the 96-acre piece of land, according to an article on lohud.com.
A press release on the Edge-on-Hudson website said the riverfront property will include a hotel, restaurants, retail spaces and more than 1,100 housing units.

Developers are planning 16 acres of parkland and a waterfront promenade.
Lohud.com said Sleepy Hollow is planning to build a public works center and recreational fields on the remainder of the property which it controls.
