A Frito-Lay delivery truck crashed into the sign at the Wasabi restaurant in Sleepy Hollow today.
The accident was reported shortly after 10 a.m. at the corner of N Broadway and Beekman Ave.
The truck was traveling north when it crossed the southbound traffic lane, jumped the curb, ran over a barrier pole, and then crashed into the Wasabi sign, ending it's forward momentum.

There were no injuries to the driver, and the truck missed a direct head-on collision with the restaurant sign, possibly saving it from being a total loss.
The driver of the truck did not wish to speak specifically about the incident, but said he was tired, under a lot of stress and didn't "know what happened."

Sleepy Hollow's Village Architect, Sean McCarthy, said the Wasabi sign would have to be removed due to safety concerns.
Sleepy Hollow Police and Fire Department responded to the accident scene, and directed traffic on N Broadway, which is now flowing normally.
