Dennis P. Cohen, 67, of Tarrytown

Dennis P. Cohen, a long time resident of Tarrytown, died on August 16, 2011. He was 67.

He was born on January 25, 1944 to Louis and Betty Wood Cohen in Manhattan. He worked for many years as an accountant including several years working at Chrysler Motors in New York. He was a member of the Tarrytown Seniors as well as working for the Board of Elections as a poll worker. He was also a volunteer for the Senior Canteen at the Neighborhood House.

He is survived by his wife Marion Gallagher, his daughter Staci Karbon of De Pere, WI, and his 3 grandchildren Ryan, Owen, and Brooke.  He is also survived by his brother.

His funeral service will be held at Coffey Funeral Home at 12 p.m. on August 19.
