Driver Accused of Killing Elderly Couple Severely Intoxicated at Time of Crash
The Journal News said a source familiar with the investigation said the driver had been drinking that morning.

GREENBURGH, NY — Sources with knowledge of the investigation into a head-on crash that killed an elderly couple Friday said the driver charged with causing the accident was at least four times the legal limit for blood alcohol.
The Journal News said Michelle Bonet, 43, spent about four hours drinking Friday morning after dropping off one of her children at school.
Carmelo and Henrietta Sbezzi died in the crash that occurred on Route 100A around 2:15 p.m. Bonet, a White Plains resident, was injured.

She was charged with vehicular manslaughter.
