Drone sightings--you can report sightings to Greenburgh police

I have reached out to Senators Schumer and Gillibrand

Drone sitings in area --if you have photos or videos advise police--no evidence of danger

No evidence of any threat to public safety

Just got off the phone with the Greenburgh Police desk. They (and I) have received a few reports of potential drone sightings in the area. Residents of the River Villages in Greenburgh and neighboring communities also have seen drone sightings. The matter is currently being investigated in collaboration with other state and federal law enforcement agencies. There is no evidence of any threat to public safety. If you observe any drone activity and if you have relevant photos or videos please contact the Greenburgh Police department at 914- 989 - 1700. Information will be shared with the New York State Intelligence Center.
Earlier today I was in contact with the officea of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Senator Chuck Schumer. Both Senators have sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security, FBI requesting a briefing on how the agencies are working with federal and local law enforcement in order to identify and address the source of recent unmanned aerial system activity in NY and NJ. I am pleased that our US Senators are giving this attention.
