Bronx resident Julio H. Jackson, 51, was arrested by state police Sunday on a misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest followed a three-car crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh at about 3:30 p.m. "Jackson was found to be intoxicated following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer," state police said.Jackson provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .11 percent. Saturday, May 16th, the Town of Greenburgh will hold its 3rd annual Artists and Crafters Market at Presser Park (former Webb Field), 218 S. Central Avenue, Hartsdale. This free, family-friendly event is dedicated to introducing and promoting local artisans and fostering a deeper appreciation for the creative process within our community. More than 30 artists and crafters of all ages and in all media will showcase and sell their creative expressions. Each exhibitor also will offer a free, hands-on lesson, presentation, creative experience or something interesting and dynamic for marketgoers of all ages. The Artists and Crafters Market will take place from 11 am until 4 pm - with a rain-date of Sunday, May 17th. Free parking is available nearby.

The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets. For the foodie’s festival foods of all kinds will be available including food trucks. Music will be located at the Gazebo on Main Street. Be sure to stop by the great restaurants and outdoor cafes with many offering fair specials. Nyack’s unique shops and boutiques are a must see. 
The fair is held rain or shine. No pets please. The Nyack Famous Street Fair has been held for over 50 years and has become a much-anticipated event that is looked forward to year after year.
