The Duprees Will Appear at Westchester Broadway Theatre

The current members of The Duprees will sing a medley of romantic songs from the doo-wop era made famous by the original group.

A share of music industry greats grew up just across the Hudson River opposite lower Manhattan — including Frank Sinatra (who started as a member of The Hoboken Four) and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (from the Union City area which was once part of Hoboken).

On the south border of Hoboken is Jersey City where still another great musical group originated in the early 1960s when a group of high-school boys banded together to form The Duprees.

Their music lives on and will be performed on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford by the current members of the group — Phil Granito, Tommy Petillo, Jimmy Spinelli, and Tony Testa.
