Empty Bowls Fundraiser

Temple Beth Abraham will host an Empty Bowls fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the Community Food Pantry at Christ Episcopal Church.

Empty Bowls is a grassroots project where bowls are donated by artisans and made by congregants and students. A delicious meal of soup and bread will be served in the bowl of your choice, and you can keep the bowl "as a reminder of the empty bowls in your own community and throughout the world."

Ruth Messinger, President of American Jewish World Service (AJWS), will give a talk on Bringing Food Justice to Your Thanksgiving Table. AJWS works to alleviate poverty, hunger and disease in the developing world.
