The Meet the Artist Reception for Hank Kearsley has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., in the Library's Howard & Ruth Jacobs Family Gallery.
Mr. Kearsley's art is bold and colorful and clearly speaks to social issues and injustice. The art resonates with power.
An artist and educator, Hank makes his social vision aesthetic. His work spans America prior to the Civil Rights Movement through struggles with racism and other oppression still existing.
